Graphic Design
Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. It is a visual language and medium of communication intended to convey a message from a client to a particular audience.
We see its effect on everything from television programming, cereal packaging, magazines and billboards.
Graphic design employs images to transmit information as well as mood, emotion and intimation of experience. It responds to needs that are both public and private and is informed by numerous disciplines from philosophy and psychology to art and performance. By combining the individual elements of words, photographs, illustrations and charts into a cohesive whole that is useful, distinctive and memorable, graphic design “works” its magic.
Simply put, graphic design is the art of visualizing ideas.
